Pantone has long been the leader in the newest color trends and they are often the deciding factor on which colors are "in" and which colors are "out" for each season. Most times when they make their color picks, the colors end up everywhere... from advertising to clothing and every where in between.

The color that will be taking the spotlight this summer is Honeysuckle! This light pinkish/coralish color is full of life and energy. The pinkish color reminds me of warm summer days with an ice cream cone in hand and tunes jamming in the background. Even the name almost has a certain taste to it... very sweet and full of sugar! Another great benefit of the color is that it boosts spirits due to it's very cheerful quality. It's sweet and subtle but when used as an accent color can really make a statement! Please don't dress in head to toe Honeysuckle... I don't want to see a bottle of Pepto-Bismal walking around! Otherwise, experiment and have fun!

Other colors from the summer 2011 lineup include; Coral Rose, Peapod, Beeswax, Silver Peony, Russet, Reggata, Blue Curacao, Lavendar, and Silver Cloud

Here are our favorites from the store that have a little Honeysuckle to them!

Prana Chai Tee $45
Spicy and delicious--just like its namesake--our Chai Tee has a joyfully effervescent print on burnout print cotton/polyester and is garment dyed for creamy softness.

Horny Toad Marley Women's $44
The Marley is a raw-edged, graceful t-shirt that instinctively follows your lead with a subtly shaped fit and stretchy Samba slub knit (a collaboration of eco-friendly Tencel®, cotton, and spandex). Add to that a beautiful drape, flattering neckline, cap sleeves, great colors and zig-zag detailing and you’re exactly where you want to be.

Skirt Sports Free Me Polo Women's $60
Relaxed in fit, but focused in ambition, the Free Me Polo provides welcome coverage whether you're on the trails or the links. Perfect-length short sleeves, and sexy Polo v-neck styling are feminine and flattering. Top it off with back vents for additional freedom of movement, and you're sure to hit a hole in one!

Patagonia Iliana Halter Dress Women's $59
Swap your fins for the nimble Iliana Halter Dress for an exploration of cobblestone streets and ancient ruins. The slightly scooped neck rises to soft straps that tie halter-style for comfort and flattering fit; the supportive, contrasting midriff insets beneath the bodice and built in shelf bra create a crisp, elegant line. Contoured, A-line silhouette falls to just above the knee. Made from a dense and pliable blend of 95% organic cotton/5% spandex. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Prana Neo Natural Yoga Mat $68
Neo Natural Yoga Mat - Eco-friendly, biodegradable rubber construction meets sophisticated engineering in this yoga mat. Cotton in the mix limits the stretching of the mat so your hands stay right where you plant them.

Pistil Snap Women's Hat $30
The military cap gets snappy with an adjustable snap back and a feminine short brim.

One for the little girls out there!

Patagonia Blossoms Dress Girls $39
This time of year, the Blossoms Dress is a girl's best bud. Made of easy-wearing, non-clingy organic cotton jersey, it has tank-style shoulder straps with modified racerback styling in the back, a slightly fitted, wide elasticized waistband with shirring details. Side-seam pockets hold found treasures; hem falls above the knee. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
