Here it is - the possible running gear for the ladies for the SOB 50KBrooks Girl Power T (sky), use your imagination a bit for the Brooks Epiphany Skort (Mediterranean), and the CWO HeadSweats Visor.

Brooke and Laura

Love the shirt.  The sleeves are short, but they are a bit longer than the average short-sleeve women’s running shirt.  For me - a good thing.  On long distance runs, I tend to get hot spots on my underarm  where the seam hits my armpit/triceps, but with this shirt – no burn and it means a little more sun protection too.

From brooksrunning.com:
Function: Run like a girl! Sleek new neckline adds feminine style, plus added comfort to our popular heathered T with fun "girl power" graphic.
Fabric: EZ (100% stretch moisture-transfer polyester)
Fit: Semi-fitted

Features & Benefits:
•  Moisture-moving EZ T fabric
•  Super soft with just enough stretch
•  Flat-lock seams prevent chafing
•  Curved side seams create more feminine shape
•  New minimal neck line increases style and comfort

The skirt, I’m excited and nervous about.  I have to admit, I haven’t actually run in a skirt yet.  I have a biking skirt that I love – the Cruiser Bike Girl from Skirt Sports.  I do have a running skirt, but it is short and it just hasn’t been quite warm enough to test it out yet.

From brooksrunning.com:
Function: Updated with a contrast rollover waistband and fresh, flattering design lines, this run skort combines style and substance. Internal short stays put, and outer stretch fabric moves with you.
Fabric: Main Body: 86% polyester/14% spandex; Contrast Leg Panel: 100% polyester; Short Liner: 88% nylon/12% LYCRA® spandex
Fit: Relaxed

Features & Benefits:
•  Contrast rollover waistband with drawstring
•  Rear zip pocket for secure storage
•  Mesh panel at front
•  Interior short for modesty and comfort
•  14" outseam: 4" inner short inseam

The HeadSweats Visor rocks.  I’ve been wearing it for almost every run I’ve done the past few months.  I got annoyed with my sweat collecting, always steaming up sunglasses a while back.  This visor wicks the sweat away preventing it from dripping in my eyes, and is so comfortable with the soft elastic headband, I forget I have it on while I’m running.  I’ve also washed it about once a week – so maybe 10 washes now – and it still looks brand new (and smells like flowers).

Comfortable, stylish, and it all performs.  SOB 50K, here come the ladies of CWO!!
