Thanks to the unfussy styling of the wool nubuck upper, the Cub looks like a school shoe, but the rugged outsole gives it hiking boot traction. The slightly higher cut helps active feet feel stable and secure while Dri-Lex® insoles and Nylex/pigskin lining keep those same feet dry and comfortable. When it’s time for the oral report on global warming, this shoe walks the talk---the outsole and midsole are made of up to 30% recycled rubber and the insoles contain up to 15% recycled EVA--even the laces help out by being made with vegetable-based elastic banding.
