Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park
The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park was founded in the fall of 2005 by a few local citizens who saw an opportunity to be stewards of a local natural treasure. A members-based group lead by volunteers, The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park gathers monthly for organizational meetings in order to oversee supplemental park programs, projects, and events. The Friends group is part of a statewide network of citizen groups who have "adopted" state parks in order to support facility improvement, expand programs, and important natural state resources.
Friends of Geneva Lake
The purpose of the the Friends of Geneva Lake is to educate the Geneva Lake Watershed community about important projects affecting the Watershed and the Lake. To donate or view more please visit the website.
Nippersink Trail Project
The Geneva and Bloomfield segments of the Nippersink Trail will establish a critical link between Big Foot Beach State Park, Lake Geneva, and Genoa City, which will then lead to regional bi-state trail networks in the Illinois area. River Alliance of Wisconsin
The River Alliance of Wisconsin has a simple mission, that is to advocate for the protection, enhancement and restoration of Wisconsin's rivers and watersheds. Their membership is comprised of over 3,200 individual, organizational and business members. They are urban, rural and retired; anglers, paddlers and lovers of water. Members’ common interest is their passion for rivers and the inspiration they bring.
Friends of Wisconsin State Parks

The Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival
Join us this Spring for our second annual Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival sponsored by Clear Water Outdoor. The WSEFF is a festival put on by activists for activists in an attempt to inspire and call to action to evoke change that both unites the community and heals the earth. Geneva Lake Environmental Agency
The Geneva Lake Environmental Agency was formed in the early 1970's by a group of citizens concerned about Geneva Lake's future. The Agency was formed as a shared unit of the local governments of the Towns of Linn and Walworth, the Villages of Fontana and Williams Bay and the City of Lake Geneva.
The Watershed Education Foundation (affilite of the Geneva Lake Association)
The Watershed Education Foundation has created a phase specific program with the ultimate aim at bringing the conservancy closer to its goal of creating awareness and cohesive community action regarding the Geneva Lake Watershed.
Geneva Lake Conservancy
The Geneva Lake Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of environmentally sensitive lands, open space and the unique character and quality of life of Walworth County, Wisconsin. Working with landowners, government officials and development interests, the Conservancy advocates private and public land use and management decisions that assure responsible growth and protection of natural and historic resources.
Lakeland Animal Shelter
Lakeland Animal Shelter is owned and operated by Lakeland Animal Welfare Society. Their goal is to prevent cruel treatment to animals in addition to educating the public on the needs of pets, to help enforce laws pertaining to animal welfare and to humanely end the suffering of any animal for which a proper home cannot be found. Holiday Home Camp
The mission of Holiday Home Camp is to provide quality educational and recreational opportunities for at-risk children, youth and families, from economically stressed communities and provide quality educational opportunities for those commissioned to serve them.
Covenant Harbor is a youth camp that is centered on both outdoor activities involving recreation and the outdoors, as well as furthering a spiritual relationship with oneself and others.
Lake Geneva Youth Camp
Lake Geneva Youth Camp was founded in 1948 with the vision of creating a place where children could get away from the city and learn of God's love for them. Today, they are a full-featured Camp and Conference Center serving thousands of youth, families, and churches.
Ice Age Trail Alliance
The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath — entirely within Wisconsin — that highlights these Ice Age landscape features while providing access to some of the state's most beautiful natural areas. More than 12,000 years ago, an immense flow of glacial ice sculpted a landscape of remarkable beauty across Wisconsin. As the colossal glacier retreated, it left behind a variety of unique landscape features. Travel Green WI
The Travel Green Wisconsin program is designed to protect the beauty and vitality of Wisconsin’s landscape and natural resources. Created by the WI; Dept of Tourism and the WI; Green Initiative Travel Green Wisconsin is a voluntary program that reviews, certifies and recognizes tourism businesses and organizations that have made a commitment to reducing their environmental impact. Specifically, the program encourages participants to evaluate their operations, set goals and take specific actions towards environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
